  1. My sister plans to buy a new bike. I've advised her not to buy from
Halfords. Can anyone recommend a good LBS? She lives in Snodland, Kent.

I should add, she wants to fit a child seat on the back (I'm trying to
persuade her to get a trailer instead), and she wants a helmet for her
2yo. Again, I've advised her not to go to Halfords if she wants it
    properly fitted.

I've often been impressed with the LBS in Headcorn. I've not made any
major purchases there, but I've had a few chats with the owner/manager
and he seems to know what he's talking about.

However, I expect Maidstone would be your best bet.

I've been happy with Victory Cycles in Rainham (the Kent one...), but
they only have a small shop, so it would probably be best to ring them
up in advance to find out if they've got what Danny's sister wants.
    Closer to Snodland than Headcorn.

Thanks Luggage, I'll pass it on.

    Just spotted this.

I used to use Geoff Wiles in Strood, many many years ago.
Dunno if it is still going. Anybody know?
