I love the camp photos.

Last time I was up there a friend dislocated his shoulder halfway up
the horns of Alligin. Other friends had taken the horns' bypass, so I
was left to get him off the hill on my own.

Seriously.. The bridge shown at the outlet of Loch na h-Oidhche is now
ruined. Take care when coming down off Baosbheinn,

Did a traverse from Torridon to the Red Barn at the head of
Kerrysdale, Gairloch. Hitched back - two lifts - total waiting time
<5mins.

Lovely to go linear again and only have to worry about the
interminable Oidhche track once..... Even with that scenery it seems
such a long way in.. (good)

I love the camp photos.

Last time I was there the wind was so strong that all 3 of us had to sit
down and hold on to any big rock we could find to stop ourselves being
blown away! The wind was so strong it was difficult to breath at times.
Unless you turned your head away it felt like your lungs were being
sucked out. We should of realised it was windy when we arrived at the
Tom na Gruagaich trig point. Strange banging noises were traced to
large boulders being moved by the wind.
Definitely one of my favourite hills!!

You were lucky with the weather. I was up staying at Kinlochewe last
week and ventured into Letterewe with clients - snow from the start. On
the Monday went to Ben Damh - great day. After that it went downhill
with rain and occasional gales for 4 days. Came home Friday night to
dry out and get cleaned up for next weekend. Obviously missed the best
of the weather. Your photos are good. I have an old camera and take
slides so it is months before I see what they are like.

Great pics, thanks for letting us see them. I have always looked longingly
at Baosheinn, must get round to doing it at some stage! I take it you done
it from Torridon to Gairloch, two car job or did you hitch back?

Your pics seem to show excellent visibility on the Sunday, I was only a few
miles to your east in the Fannichs and although excellent weather it as
always somewhat hazy, I may get round to showing my photos later tonight!

Come on in - the water is fine......

There is a bridge at NG881687 but its looking a wee bit battered. Of
course, the burn is only half the one that flows from Loch na
h-Oidhche - it bifurcates.

Harveys say there is a bridge at NG884677 as well, but I did not look
there.

The forest is growing nicely, trees now 9 years old.

No car job. University minibus and hitch back....

Well worth the traverse... The scenery is incredible in there. I have
been in there 4 times now in the last 18 months.

Sunday was every bit as good, and boy that hill puts up a fight for a
736m job.

When I did it last year I found a bridge in the region of 866694 which
took me to a rough track and up to the outward route below Meall na
Meine.

It was always up, but just partly up....... Its been moved around a
lot recently.... Fallen off all the search engines.. Makes me wonder -
just how much out there is not on the engines?
