  1. We babysat yesterday afternoon for friends so he they could go house
hunting w/o their adorable 4.5 and 1.5 year old daughters. They had
invited us to stay for dinner.

Cocktail hour included homemade salsa and chips, smoked trout, and
    chevre with accompaniments.

Dinner was delicious: marinated pork tenderloin medallions, the
tastiest potato casserole I've ever eaten, and mixed snow peas and
asparagus lightly dressed with butter. Dessert was chocolate mousse
with whipped cream and chocolate covered wafer sticks. Num!

Sounds delicious. Were the pork tenderloin medallions served with a
    sauce?

Sounds yummy indeed, because you were being kind🙂.

OT Last night was our tiny Dinner Club and our country of choice was
Madagascar. Pretty yummy and also healthy food. I made a meat stew
as the entree, beef (1lb), pork,(1lb) and 4 chicken breasts all cut in
1 inch pieces. All cooked sequentially in water, garlic and 3 onions,
then add 8 large chopped tomatoes and 4 inches chopped ginger, cook
another 10 minutes and then add 2 pounds fresh spinach and cook until
just wilted. Serve on steamed white rice. That was so tasty. Fruit
gimlet was the appetizer. Lots of fun.

WOW! They went on a serious house hunt and still had time to put on
the Ritz for you? I'm impressed. Sounds like you should make another
babysitting offer soon! That's a great payment for babysitting kids
that are no problem to entertain.
