sure it's a lot of spin and selective reporting. do you expect them to call attention to widespread doping in their sport? liggett, et al. are paid to promote the sport, not give it a blacker eye. people want heros and flandis' testosterone-fueled ride in 2006 was pretty heroic

i imagine they were frustrated at not being able to include f. l. in that "new, clean" generation of riders like ricco. ah, [censored], well, some of the other new, clean generation, like that lance guy who has never tested positive for anything.

Given that David Millar is treated like the second coming of Christ, would you expect anything less?

As for Landis' and that whole debacle, he did his time and judging by the paperwork the lab in Paris should do theirs too... But, the guy is also coming back from having his hip/thigh bastardised with chisels and circular saws, which is a little more traumatic to the body that a two year suspension don't ya think?

but less than 2 years, Landis hoping to be found not guilty had expected to come back on the next Tour. So his none appearance was more from suspension than medical reason. Do you forget his mountain bike race?
