    Assume that the new sponsor went up in smoke with the positive test.
    Even when Floyd is proven innocent, the negative publicity won't be
    something a financial company will want to be involved with.

    I thought the protour was history at least as far as the TDF and
    the Giro are concerned.

    Add to them several Pro Tour teams, all the Continental teams, and the
    riders' union's lack of enthusiasm for the format.

    The team probably isn't going to survive in any form; even if it does,
    the people behind it aren't going to want to have anything to do with
    Landis ever again.

    And he isn't going to be 'found innocent'. Pigs don't fly, and human
    beings don't secrete synthetic testosterone.
