Road stages, yes, because I'm interested in the tactics, strategy,
attacks, counters, collusion, and back-stabbing (especially the latter).
Rarely TTs, but perhaps I'm missing something. Since I'm interested in the
tactics, strategy, etc., I don't particularly worry if I learn the result
ahead of time.

We like shouting at the TV set and the commentator ( usually DD).
Difficult if not impossible if you already know the result.

Yep, but if it's a cycling race and I don't want to know the result
I'd never come on r.b.r before watching it given the normal etiquette
of posting the podium in the header...

The standard practice in this group is to post the entire podium in the
Subject field.

If you don't want to see results of a particular race in this newsgroup,
then don't READ this newsgroup until after you've watched your tape of the
