UCI to see if Lance had ever had any medical exemptions on his forms [TUE,
or Therapeutic Use Exemption]. I knew about it, Johan [Bruyneel] knew about
it and Lance knew about it, but it was solely to look at the forms to see if
there was this medical exemption on it."

control] numbers on the samples [from the 1999 Tour],

being on the forms. The lab intentionally ignored medical
control protocols to put the numbers on and the only
reason they would do such a study with numbers on it is if
someone told them to do so and were out to get someone in
particular by matching those numbers."'

Aside from the EPO Lance controversy Lance made the right decision.
After this years 7th tdf victory there is nothing more to prove insofar
as the tdf is concerned. As with any era there is always new riders to
contest a champion and Lance is no different. The only point for Lance
is fill in his career with some classics and a major tour or two. But
given Lances decision to focus soley on the TDF it would raise
questions of Lance as specialst.

Discovery is now in a development stage trying to find out who is best
at what or who will be a deciscive team captain. Personally I think
over time it will be good for Disocovery to move away from the only
Lance team syndrome.
