  1. With daily rbr posts at a new low, Lance has decided to leave
retirement, and enter next years TDF. This should save rbr from the grave,
pump some new life into this crypt.

well, do you think that if the calendar was adjusted a bit we might enjoy
more drama throughout the year ?

  3. Lance's ego wasn't well-served enough with his engagement announcement,
so he teases us with a possible 8th Tour. The guy's already a legend,
with an A list fiance' and the three kids he vowed to go into
    retirement for.
Just Say No To Eight In A Row.

Posts here are generally higher than on rec.auto.sports.nascar, which to
hear all the hype about that "sport", shouldn't be the case.

I first subscribed to r.b.r in the Indurain years and it was pretty busy
    back then.

I think if anything the presences of Lance has reduced the signal to noise
ratio because of the appearance of mainstream clueless nubies for Kunich et
    al. to pounce on.

Not true. Maybe they can't make out complete sentences, but any
NASCAR fan understands the meaning of the word 'Lite'.

    If it's "Lite" it's Miller.

    If it's "Light" it's Budweiser.
