  1. Lance's TT ride looks great, I love the mostly black with white lettering and the streak of silver. Sleak, fast, light. Would like to see it with actual racing wheels. Would like to take it for a spin even more. I wonder how it shifts and brakes with the harsh cable routing at the top tube, excuse me while I put my tounge back in my mouth.
You can check it out at he following link...

  2. Pretty nice pictures, the one on wich he is stopped for road repairs is pretty funny!

  3. The bike looks awesome! and apparently it works well too considering he won today in a TT on it! YAYA!!

The note at the bottom of the picture reads...
"{ PS - those are SRM cranks, part of LA's computer system to measure wattage, and yes, they're just training wheels } "

It must be nice to have the latest and greatest available to you at any time.

It looks like there are two different set's of cranks in the photos, the top few have dura-ace cranks and bottom few have SRM cranks (as KGnagey has already said measure power output).

I wonder why he wasn't in USP kit?

    cheers

  7. Those brakes sure don't look like the 2004 DA brakes. Anyone know what those are?

  8. Lances time trial brakes are Dura Ace AX, from the early '80s. He's used them for years on his time trial bikes. They're light, aero and the cable routing is aero too.

Here's a pic of them in their 'original' environment: http://www.classicrendezvous.com/Italy/Tommasini/Tomm_AX_prts.htm
