  1. Did anyone who watched "The Lance Chronicles" figure out
what he was using? If I'd taped it I could have single
framed through and perhaps figured it out.

  2. Single frame it and look for lace around some of the edges,
    it's Sheryl's Chamois Lube.

Why kick her? Just because her music career has faded, has
casual flings with somwone the crowd, and may be using, but
this her right to do so isn't it? Attacking her because she
used to have millions is just wrong. You say she is a
grandma, but she can't be over 59.

I saw the "The Lance Chronicles" also, but couldn't figure
out what chamois cream he was using. All I could see is
that he sure used a lot of it and said; "I finally found
one that works." When asked what brand, Lance said he won't
say, it's a secrete. Love that expression when he pulled
    the shorts up.

I thought the Assos logo on the jar was pretty obvious.

  12. It was in a jar, like Assos, but didn't look like the Assos
logo ... Definitely not Chamois Butt'r which comes in a
squeeze bottle. I'm thinking it might have been Café
    Chamois Crème.

It seems to me that Sheryl has had TWO top ten singles
as of late. Lots of artists would kill to have a career
    that faded.

It looked to be Assos as well. Even had the red top and
bottom lines on it. I'm sure this will spur on huge
business for Assos - since if it works for Lance, it must
    work for me.

Yep, right colour, too. Maybe he mixes in some olive oil,
    just to be secret.

  19. You know, this is the weirdest thread in a long while. A
different kind of weird. Not the repetitive kind of weird
    like the why-do- my-tax-dollars-support-LANCE'S-team threads
that pop up so frequently where the same people make the
same points before petering out. Not the guilty pleasure of
the Iraq political threads, where you know you shouldn't do
it but you just don't have the willpower to resist.

This is a different, unique, and refreshing brand of
weirdness. This thread illustrates why we write the name of
the only rider that matters as LANCE rather than Lance.
Because no detail is too small or irrelevant when it comes
to THE ONLY RIDER THAT MATTERS.

Since I started the thread I have to admit my motive was to
try to find a chamois lube that works better that the
Vaseline I've been using for years. I have a practically
unused bottle of Paceline Chamois Butt'r, which I found to
    be unacceptable.

I figured anyone (stress ANYONE) who spends as much time
in the saddle as LANCE would have sussed this out by now.
If for some reason the show was "The Tyler Chronicles"
and had the same scene I probably would have asked the
    same question.

So ASSOS Chamois Creme it is! Expensive, but perhaps I'll
    give it a try.
