  1. It's obvious Oprah nor her producers did their homework regarding
allegations of PEDs by Mr. Armstrong. All she had to do was watch the
ESPN program which had aired about the allegations in the book and she
could've simply asked questions: Why would Emma lie? Had the incident
in the hospital room not occured then why did those 2 women just say it
didn't happen instead of "no comment"?; You did test positive in the
1999 Tour and only after scrambled to get a doctor's note. There's
many more, but if journalists won't ask, why would she?

Oprah does not pretend to be a journalist. It's a feel-good fluff show.

I sincerely wish that I had her talent for generating dollars. That's
where both her and Springer are incredible. Jerry is great. He has no
problem admitting he's doing the [censored] he does for money and doesn't
take any of it seriously. He's today's P. T. Barnum. Oprah thinks she's
contributing something with her fluff. I'll take Springer and the
    Weekly World News.

You equate making money with talent as a TV personality? Ever hear of
    the word luck?

You could do an experiment with 500 women doing the EXACT same thing as
Oprah did in her career, and none of them would end up having their own
TV show. It all comes down to various people giving you permission to
do things, which may or may not have anything to do with talent.

Dude if you could make them stars you'd be kicking back in Hollywood
chasing starlets around the pool not posting [censored] here.

IIRC, he's a happily married man. Starlets wouldn't interest him.

"Luck" has nothing to do with it. Oprah works incredibly hard. Rarely
does luck have much to do with one's success in life. If you believe life
is a lottery, then I bet you voted for Kerry or Nader (if you are in the
    US).
