Well, the picture isn't as elegant or definitive of a great physical
specimen the way the on of Eric Heiden skating (seen from the right
the right leg was forward). This picture was a poster in many public
places, here and abroad. Lance is practically in the dark ad hunched
over so his body is hard to assess.

I'm sure Carl can find that shot on the web for us.

American Machine & Foundry?

My first bicycle was an AMF from a hardware store. Hardly a great
bicycle, but actually functional and reliable.
