  1. Is he done?

"The object remains the Tour, and I think I'm on track," Armstrong said. "I didn't think I was good enough to win (the Georgia race), but I felt better toward the end of the race than I did at the beginning, so that's a good sign."

Hard to say. I think he's got a little Jerry Rice / Michael Jordan in him. I doubt he'll go away completely unless he's terribly injured, incarcerated, or swept into another public pursuit which involves cheering crowds (opera tenor, perhaps?). I'm sure he'll put in a good effort at the TDF this year.

He'll scale back, get back into triathlons, oddball stuff like off-road duathlons, take up coaching and gestate plans for a clothing line and eventual frame company bearing his label. In the midst of it all will come a celebrated but ultimately fruitless 2008 comeback with the not-yet-in-exisitence up-and-comming-and-desperate-for-a-high-profile-captain Team Starbucks. In any case, the "family time" line is likely a bit of a sham.

It's definately PSYOPS...Lance is Bush's new weapon to infultrate France and find those WMD from IRAQ...The TDF is just a cover!!!

What's to infiltrate? He just wants to [censored] them off.
I am waiting on my friend who just went back to Switzerland to talk to Steinhauser and give me a little inside on Ullrich.
I believe Lance will make a good showing this year but I am not so sure he will win.
If you look way back you will see that I was with the "Lance will win crowd" last year and previously but he will have a hard time this year I believe.
It's Jans last go round ,most likely,so it's" balls to the wall time".
I still maintain that Lance will get into promoting and creating American Races.
Cycling could repalce football in a few hundred years.

I wonder if Ullrich will be motivated to beat what appears to be "a not so motivated Lance???"

Lance has nothing really to race for anymore. He has the record 6 straight wins. What else is there to accomplish in regards to the Tour?

From what I know he is trying to focus on the TDF and peak at the right time but I should be hearing more in a week or so.

Hey smart ass...I know he rides Giant and has rode Bianchi hence my point....You really aren't hitting on all cylinders today...are you ok? Your remark about the steel bike was much better... 🙄

    Is Lance done?...hmmm..

perhaps you missed the memo last week, how did it go now,

    oh yes..I'M RETIRING!!

Thats Lance's way of saying 'hey folks, I'm done.'

strange that you should ask this question now...you should have asked it last year...

I hope he's done for, because I've just bet £50 that he won't win the TDF.

    Classic stuff, Pro.

But I expect we'll get some sort of excuse saying that retirement in the USA doesn't mean the same thing over this side of the pond.

Or some other such - to use the nom du jour - waffle.

Strange you would mix present, past and future tense all in one statement...

He is still racing is he not? He will be racing in the future this year until the TDF... will he not? Nice try at "hair splittery" but the question is valid in relation to the upcoming TDF which he has won six times... the question remains...is he done? or will he win again? get it...c'mon pro forgot to take your meds today? 😄
