lambing season

but doesnt talk about rerouting, yet the maps talk about rerouting!

In N Yorks traditionally lambing started 1st April ( Tup goes in
November 5th) and this is probably a reasonable guide for sheep on the
higher grounds.

However with more sheep being lambed at lower levels or indoors and
being given more feed , lambing can start even in Dec/Jan.

I would enquire in the locality you are interested in - tourist board,
footpath officer, Farmers Union

That wont happen.. Speraking from my old farming experience.. A
shotgun licence is a precious thing, that government wants off you
asap. And its hard to run a farm from a prison cell....

There are no "nogo" hills in Scotland, although one near Coulport is
almost one...

Known a few in December but we used to start late January..
