  1. LANCE is completely irrelevant this year.

  2. Does Laff have it in him for any congrats?
    Would he show ANY humility?

You're right, of course, and Brian with his Buddhist thing will have an
eye-opening nirvana-eureka experience and finally get it, the lawyer in him
    notwithstanding.

"I was riding with a good friend today who often has interesting
insights into that which is hidden from most. Bill knows of what
I write. My friend firmly believes that Armstrong will no longer
risk EPO, blood doping or whatever he might have been doing. He
will therefore perform this season as a person of his modest VO2
Max, height and weight would be expected to perform. I have no
idea if my friend is correct or not. ..."

So much for getting TdF predictions from Carnac the Magnificent.

    You're welcome,
    Ben

I recall a lot of inference and innuendo in that threadt that Lafferty's
friend was really himself. There were multiple reasons people believed
that. And, as we all know, inference and innuendo are as good as fact
    when you're dealing with Lafferty.

Legally, he didn't, but implicitly, he endorsed it. It's like
when teenage girls call up radio advice talk shows and begin by
saying "My friend has this problem ..."

Even if Laff does have a friend (call him Carnac) here's the
question: if Carnac's prediction had turned out to be true,
would Laff have eagerly reminded us of it?

    Hey there Tim.
I do know who Brian is refering to and I'm not sure what he would know
about doping controls, and Armstrongs reaction but he's got to be in the
clearance range I was which is way over US/Nato TS.

I wish my VO2 max was so modest!
