If they grow from 3000 to 4000, that is a gain of 1000. 50% of that growth
would be 500, Yes?
So, that puts them at 3500....sounds like a gain to me.

Kraftwerk's 2004 album "Tour de France" was sublime; the newly recut
song was played during their tour this year. My buddy went to the
Chicago concert - apparently the song was backdropped by three huge
projection screens playing vintage European cycling footage.

Not from the 80's although that is when they were most popular, they
actually started as a band called Organisation in 1968! The two leads
Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider Esleben then released the first albm
as Kraftwerk in 1970. Amazingly enough Kraftwerk is still around, they

Pretty much a giveaway. [quote from a researcher about "his engine."

But the hints continued. "...this week, wearing the yellow jersey..."
sheesh.

The contestant got it right, but IMHO that doesn't make her an NPR
geek.
