Do you know how long that will take to build? Lance has already said
that it's only fitting to go to Manchester to do it the first time.
That doing it again in the US would be another goal.

If he's going to try for the Hour this year I seriously doubt it will
be in New Mexico.

I am guessing it will be a while before it is built. They have 2 of the 10
million dollars needed. Still a long way off...

Nobody is sure what he's going to do when. But it's surely going to be
before the fall of 2006 regarding the hour record.

On that note, Anyone one know the temp, barametric pressure, humidity,
CO2 vs O2 content of the air? Did boardman have to take a dump for the
last 20 minutes? 'Cause if he did and Lance isn't working up a steamer
at at the end there then he will have an unfair advantage and the
record won't stand in my mind. You people suck! Name a single record in
any sport or event that has a "location" caveat?

Get real people! If you are claiming that the hour record won't stand
unless Lance does in Manchester either you want it in Manchester for
personal gain (I.E. you live close and can go see it) or you are feebly
trying pre-emptively discredit Lances attempt out of sour grapes.
Either way get a life!

will be set on this track:

I still think that a figure eight track needs to have a live
intersection. Of course, that wouldn't matter much in an hour attempt. Team
pursuit would sure be exciting, though.
