This, by the way, is the first race Paolo "Il Falco"
Savoldelli has raced in since his injury several months ago.
He got caught behind the first-day split which put many
riders a half-hour behind, came in close to last in the ITT
and abandoned on the last day. All forgivable, of course,
since he's on the comeback trail...

Correct sir. Losing 32 minutes is a very good way to get
your opponents to drop their guard.

much of a rock star to join the USPS squad (rest is left to

Maybe - hopefully he'll remember to put a front
derailleur on his bike this time. You know, I like Millar
as a rider - he's strong as hell and has a lot of
'talent' on the bike, but he's **so** sketchy. He's
almost as much of a headcase as VDB.

Ahh, the Rasmussen trick. But I'm not sure that losing 32
minutes in Route du Sud is going to gain Millar anything
in the TdF - nobody's going to remember that it happened.
