I am thinking of buying a Kuota Kredo and am intrested in any feedback. I first saw Kuotas in France last year when they all seemed to be highly rated and to get excellent reviews. I think the Kuota Khan was Le Cycles 2003 bike of the year and that the Kuota Kredo has won a test this year over the Trek Madonne and Look KG486 although surfing the internet in French is difficult! They are actually Italian frames suprisingly, I though the name sounded Japanese.
What I know about Kuotas are that they're damn nice frames that are freakin' expensive. All carbon with that matte black stealthy look. There's a high-end bike shop here in Toronto that carries Kuotas (www.labicicletta.com). I just bought a new Litespeed frame then found out about Kuotas.....
I have a Khan and am getting a Kredo soon as well. That should tell you how well they are made.. I am a Cat 3 and rode a TCR 0 last year and Kuota is much stiffer without the dead feeling.
The Khan may be for sale when the Kredo hits my doorstep. Tough to decide if I can part with it since it is my road race setup and the Kredo will be the Crit bike.

Hi doctorbph.... how does the Kuota ride? you mentioned it being stiffer thatn the TCR 0...wow! That's really stiff...but is it comfortable?
Some comparitive feedback on the ride please....
BTW why are you getting the Kredos, having already own the Khan?
That's correct. It is stiffer and doesn't have the soft feel when hitting a hard gear.
It climbs well because of the short 406mm chainstays and smooths out the bumps on the road.
I am getting the Kredo for Criteriums. It has more of a forward race geometry, whereas the Khan is a bit more relaxed for long stage races.
It doesn't sound like it's suitable for long rides of half or full centuries? If it's stiffer than the TCR 0 composite then when you hit a bump, it may jolt you quite a bit? I know the marketing/reviews talked much about how the seat stays wraps around the top tube as suppos the seat tube...etc..
I have ridden this bike on a few long days 4+hrs and have had no problem, although it is slightly less comfortable than the Giant it is by no means uncomfortable.

Good to hear! Now I have an idea of its level of stiffness/comfort
I will be paying about £1500 for mine. The ride feels very good to me, I haven't ridden it for long or particularly hard as it isn't quite finished yet (and I haven't paid for it yet). I's similar in feel to my Trek 5200 which I have always found very comfortable as well as responsive. I have used it ror crits as well as 150 mile randonness inclusing the Tour of Flanders. The Kuota seems slightly more responsive than the Trek and I will let you know about the comfort after a long ride.
