  1. My only association with Rattlesnake Lake Cycles (on EBay) is as a customer.
But when you get great service, good product, decent prices - did I say great
service - I want to let others know...

I purchased a pair of Demarchi bib tights from Rattlesnake Lake Cycles having
never seen or tried this model on before. For an Italian bib tight (it is
starting to get colder here now) with a nice, minimalist, elastic pad the $80
price seems pretty darn good. Shipping was fairly priced, shipped immediately,
    and delivered via Priority Mail.

When my pair arrived, the seller had also enclosed a pair of Demarchi wool
socks - as a gift. This was not only unexpected but the socks prove to be very
good too (I will order some with my next purchase). Unfortunately, the size I
ordered proved a bit small. No problems - I had only tried them on and not
removed the tags. I sent them back and they were replaced with a larger size in
a matter of days. This even when he did not list the size as in-stock on EBay.

I recommend this seller and encourge you to give them a try if they have
    anything you need:

I presume this means that you do not believe my statement above. What an
ass-hole! To prove you incorrect, please see this ebay auction I won recently.
The seller was as indicated as was the item purchased.

Personally, I took your statement as stated: that you had no
connection with, but wanted to commend the service of this firm. Nice go,
BTW. I find too many people ready to complain about such-and-such firm,
while few seem willing to commend someone who offers superlative service.
    Thank you.

No, the funny part is that disclaimers like that are commonly employed
by people who actually have more of an association than as customers.
    That's all, just irony.

Don't let that stop you from passing judgement against me, though. 😉

  8. Actually it's you Eric that's laughing out judgements without enough
    info.

  9. Good deal. But how much did the shipping cost back and forth add to the
    transaction?

One reason why I like buying things like clothes at my LBS is I can try
things out there. Similarly, if I do decide to take it home and find it
doesn't fit, I can easily return it. Still, sounds like you had a good
transaction and that's very important to know!

You know it's possible to laugh at something someone says/posts without
    laughing at the person, right?

  11. OK but that fine line is very hard to walk.

  12. Good to see someone giving praise where it is due. Usually we mostly see
    complaints.
