I 'd check out local shops as they may still have 2003 models at reduced prices. In fact I'd still
go to a shop to check sizes and have a good look anyway.

And the mail order Cannondale they sent me was very poorly assembled to the point of being lethal
(the studs on the cantilever brakes pushed through the eye bolts on first hard application).

A touring bike I bought from a certain specialist supplier in the West Country had quite a few
issues on delivery too - poor paint finish, front mech slipping on the down tube, awful front brake
cable routing (the hanger had no "drop" so the cable was bent so tightly the ferrule was splitting)
and a BB that seized within 100 miles. I'd be wary of buying anything mail order now.

In both cases these were £1000+ bikes.

Thanks Guys the message coming through seems to be buy it fro a shop and as locally as possible!

Their catalogue now sez "we don't supply Cannondales by mail order" but this seems to be a
Cannondale thing rather than than them.
