A good knife sharpener is invaluable if you handle many knives. Serrated knives usually require
special sharpening devices, due to their unnatural angle. The sharpener is well worth the price.

Shopping around for one that will handle the serrations is also a good idea, but that can wait if
your $140 unit won't handle them.

I have one of these, and it makes and keeps my knives razor sharp! Inexpensive and easy to use. It's
getting time to replace it tho', but I've been using it for about 5 years.

That looks like a copy of the Chef's Choice 120. I would go with the
tried and true original. My review is at

It *is* the Chef's Choice. You can see the "Chef's Choice" logo on the sharpener in the picture on
the Sharper Image website.
