Does anyone know where I can get the part of the Klick Fix mount that attaches to the bar bag/map holder/whetever ? I don't mean the part that is secured onto the handlebar, I mean the part that 'klick fixes' into it.
Does anyone have a crash damaged/worn out bag from which they'd like to donate the plate to me ?

A Rixen & Kaul dealer should be able to get you a spare. EBC recently got me a new R&K hook for a pannier which wasn't general stock, I just called them and asked.

I've got one of the Tchibo handlebar bags from last year. The handlebar fitting got swiped with a bike. Anyone happen to have one kicking around? I know -they were so cheap I should have bought another one, it just irritates me to have a nice bag sitting useless.
ps. How do people deal with handlebar bags and Ergo levers? Cycling Plus raves about 'Noken Cables' but I doubt I can justify new cables. Do people just bend the cables round the bag?

I have a bag with a Klickfix mounting and there is an extension kit attached which moves the bag a few inches further forward. This presents no problems with STI levers and cabling, not sure about Ergo.

I apologise. I was being imprecise. I have Shimano Sora STI levers. Someone on Sunday referred to them as Ergo, and I made a Freudian slip. One can dream...

I use a Carradice barbag with a Klickfix mounting (on Dawes Audax;Shimano RSX STI) but haven't used the extension fitting. I curve the cables forward slightly so that they pass across the front of the bag. I have done that for about five years and haven't had any problems with it.

PS I have to replace the cables soon and am toying with the idea of upgrading to Nokian cables but haven't found a supplier/prices yet.
