It depends. What do you think?

Real friends aren't made. They. Just. Are.

Wobbot, you do realise that you're playing with a Modern American Poet of
some considerable note? Although I find some of her work to be
surprisingly weak, she is well respected by many within the comtemporary
    artistic community in Yankeeland.

I have to admit that some of her work is genuinely astounding in its clarity
and use of language. Her ability to dance around the borders of the
rational is quite brilliant. Frankly, she's one of those remarkable
individuals who will either sink without trace or become part of our
cultural heritage for generations to come. Personally, I'll take bets on
the latter, but tempus will tell...

Why thank you, that is very kind. My old bus driver Mrs Leadfoot used to say
that to explain to me why I rode on a little bus, while my friends rode on big
    ones to school.
Are you her? I always had the hotts for her. If you are maybe we can hookup? I
suspect you're about 120 YO now, but I like older wimmen...

You said she has no [censored]?

It's a given. Can't - offhand - think of one bright, sparky, girlie like
our new chum Ms Hooper who combines sexual allure with a stunning intellect.
It would appear that God has decreed you can have one or the other, but not
    both.

Actually, I think what happens is that the occasional intellectual female,
born with a body to die for, soon determines it's easier - indeed more
logical - to get her way using her feminine charms rather than beat us over
our heads with her superior brain. Hence we never realise that she's
comprehensively brigher than us, we just think she's a babe. However, any
girl who consciously parades her intellect must, de facto, be without
physical charm. We can therefore conclude - with high confidence levels -
that Ms Hooper has no [censored].

Maybe we should take up a collection for her to get a [censored] job?

    Y'think?

If we accept the premise that she's [censored]-less, why assume that she has any
desirable features at all? You could be looking at a programme of major
reconstructive surgery, from the tip of her tiny toes to the top of her
immense cranium. And what do you end up with? A cross between Michael
    Jackson and Barbarella?

Frankly, I lack the cash to pursue such an endeavour. Let's just enjoy her
undoubted talents as a poet and writer, and go seach the net for strange
pics of Nelly Furtado. Now there's a woman I'd like to meet...

First off, two of my biggest turnons are Michael Jackson and Barberella, so
that's a dream cum true for me. Next, it matters not what the rest of her body
looks like, if a woman has great [censored], men will not see anything else anyways.
Of course you've unintentionally brought up a point, that being she is
unusually smart, and this is a big turn off. So where does that leave us?

Dude, I'm on SS and you are telling ME you can't afford it? Ha! If we all pitch
in just $3 each, she'd have the loot to get it done.

Y'see, I'd have to disagree with you. Great [censored] do not a babe make. I
think it's a combination of heaps of things - with eyes, hair, smile, skinny
physique, out-of-control personality, etc, etc, all in the mix.

    Quoted message said:

It's not the smartness that worries me. Smart can mean capable of
remarkable kindness, sincerity and passion. It's the one-dimensional
smartness of a poet that creates furrows in my brow. Creating mental
pictures or emotions with words - which is what most of these fellows are
about - leads to a precision in thought and speech that negates, even
    prevents, spontaneity.

Wobbot, we are silly, fluffy little people, you and I. Incapable of
holding a concept in our wooly heads for any longer than a minute, we are
destined to follow our baser instincts till time - or a sharp right from an
angry rec.runner - catches up with us.

Hope you're rib is feeling better :-)

    Quoted message said:

Why, I remember you having a thought some time

I've actually had a few since then, but they all involve MJ and Jane Fonda
floating around naked (Jane, not Michael. Although...), and weren't nearly as
good as that one in 02.

    Quoted message said:

And a mighty fine thought is was too.

I'm sure it was, now if I could just remember what it was. Well I'll just smoke

That's my quote above, and I just wanted to explain it. My fantasy involves MJ,
Barbarella, a turkey baster, and a pregnancy.

Well see this is a cultural difference between the USA and you wimps. Here
[censored] are all that matter, unless she's smart too, then the [censored] are cancelled
    out and she's unpopular again.

My you are paranoid Roger. I've repeatedly stated where, when, and how I run,
posted pics of myself, and bragged to runners that i am theBillRodgers, and you
know what? Not one ever even considered taking a poke at me. Of course I do
look like a 200lb Bruce Lee, so this tends to ward off 99% of attacks right off

Not usually. Rest and gentle exercise may. Watch out for...oh, I forgot,
    I'm not a doctor.

[censored]? Wasn't this where we began?

So running isn't out of the picture all together then? It did feel better after
a 3 miler yesterday, although a few times I thought I got stabbed, but it was
50% better after the run. I didn't even bother asking the jerk I had at the ER,
he was an [censored] anyways (we go back about 30 years to when he gave me
arthritis meds for epidydimitis, an infection of the sperm carrying tubes,
dubbed 'the priests disease' because I was single in those days, and spent a
lot of time, um, er, praying,,,) who because of his negligence, I have a great
big pain in my right nut everytime we get damp weather. So I didn't bother even
asking. Not that I'd listen anyways...

    Quoted message said:

    [censored]?

No a "[censored]", much smaller, like crachead hookers whose [censored] look like they're
dried up. You DO know what those look like, don't you? I was about to compare
us with you being a '[censored]', and me being a '[censored]' , but then realized the
significance of it all would be too ironic for a rational mind to deal with.
