  1. I aquired an older Klein mountain bike. The name on the frame is scratched but
it looks like it says "Fervor" or "Trevor"....Does this ring a bell and is it
a decent frame? I'm thinking about upgrading the componets and don't want to
    if is not good.
    Thanks

  2. Klein made a made a Fervor. I think it was discontinued in 2001. There was
not Trevor, hope it narrows down your search for info.

It's a Fervor and I saw one in a shop before I left England, which
would put it about 1996. It was the same as the (then) trick Rascal
but with less groovy paint job.
Nice frame and very light, but you have to watch for the strange Klein
size headtube, which may restrict your fork choice.

    cheers

I hear they're coming out with a "Travis" model.

Says it'll do anything but really does nothing?

I'm sure that it'll creak and groan a lot too and you'll never be able to
    stop it doing that.

And if you say anything harsh to it, it self-destructs.

Happily, it being a bicycle, it will be unable to commit any of its self -
    absorbed moaning to usenet.
