Kilts and Unis

I wouldnt mind riding a kilt and uni, got nothing to be ashamed of so
yeah... for me i would just go for it, too bad i dont have a kilt

I do have a huge pink fluffy coat and hat i could wear, probably be
like a sauna in there but ill do it =p

I rode alongside Rocket in the Seattle Torchlight parade at UNICON in
2002. Rocket wore a kilt while riding a two-stack uni for the entire
3½ hours of the parade. He did a fantastic job at it, a feat I doubt
I'll ever approach. Every once in awhile, I'd ride up beside him and
lift his kilt a little just to get the crowds going. Quite the fun
time.

I wonder if you wouldnt get as sore as you usally would for riding with
a kilt, cause you got that breeze and all, hmm... lol

Maybe once it's warmer out I'll give it a shot. My only worry is that
the kilt might get caught up in the wheel.

Well the lack of support would make it difficult. Even though it
violates the first rule of kilts you might want to wear cycle shorts
underneath. So you're not balls to seat.

My assumption on the logistics of the kilt would be that you'd have the
back of the kilt on top of the seat and not just your nads, right? If
that's the case, I think that you'd have plenty of clearance. Go for
it. I have a colleague at work that picks the very coldest of days to
wear his urban camo Utilikilt, and it was a riot following him around
in Tokyo while he was wearing one. The looks were amazing. I'd do it
but I just haven't gotten over that inhibition yet. I hear it's a very
free and liberating experience. Have fun.

Thanks! I think I shall. I get enough looks just wearing the kilt, so
maybe if I ad the uni folks will only notice one or the other.

Now I just have to get a new uni since the one I got when I was 10 is a
bit rusted. I suppose I'll need a muni to really go with the utilikilt.

As for free and liberating...there's nothing like it.

Please wear some sort of 'undergarment'
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:1stBatBW.jpg) under the kilt if it
is windy or if you are going to be jumping, hopping, doing spins,
pirouettes, uni spins, or dismounts from a giraffe.

why go through all the trouble of buying kilts? just sneak a skirt out
of grandma's closet and you'll get the same effect. add in a bra and
some panties and you'd really have something there.
