One way to blow a Mormon's mind...
It isn't Mormon's minds that Sheffield is blowing.
Now, now Tom. I think the idea of Mormons (actually just the ones in "white
bread and lime jello land"😉 being subjected to some south of the border
culture is funny because of its absurdity and their disdain for anything
outside their own culture in central Utah
Salt Lake City. Where you can sometimes buy a beer, but you can always go
see at least two Osmonds together performing live.
Hey ... You can buy beer in any grocery store, even on Sunday (except in
parts of Utah County).
Of course it's only 4% by volume (3.2% by weight).
Gotta go to the State Liquor Stores to get the good stuff (my current fave
is Grant's Perfect Porter, out of Portland). The liquor stores, however,
are closed on Sundays, holidays, and Election Day(s).
I gotta get outta the valley though ... If we're gonna be stuck here for too
much longer, my wife and I have to figure out a way to move up to Park City
....
