My little ones decided to surprise me by cleaning my bike this morning. They did a very good job.... except the areas they scrubbed REALLY clean.. using a pan scourer! I now have these patches that have a non shiny white sheen over them where they have scraped the top layer of lacquer etc off!! But I cant moan, they were so proud of the job they have done!!! Just make sure its locked out of their reach in the future

You might also check the BB for water if they used a hose. Often the water follows some interesting paths and ends up at the lowest place on the bike.

Kids'll do it ever time won't they. How old? perhaps this is a good time for the ol' "respect of others property" seminar/lecture :-)
