    Right. Since breaks (if/when they happen) usually occur in the seat
    tube _above_ the weld, it seems logical to assume that by strengthening
    the tube itself would prevent breakage. This can be accomplished simply
    by having the seat post long enough that it extends all the way down to
    the base of the seat tube, thereby effectively creating a
    "double-walled" seat tube! And this would seem to be even stronger than
    an *actual* second alum. outer wall as the seat post is much heavier.
    Does this make any sense? 😕
