Sorry, but that is the way they do it. Some people think that they can do
    it by
putting oil in a pressure cooker, but pressure cooker manufacturers
    strongly
    recommend they not do that.

    Yes ! I know! 🙁(((((((

to the one KFC uses. You could experiment with the coating and
    probably
    come
up with something better than KFC, but the essential thing is the
    cooker,
    a
    pressure fryer.

Don't try this at home! AFAIK, these cookers are not available for
home use in the US either.

Yes, I knew that! Thank you!

Hello my friends. My Pc is working *NOW*, so I take advantage to ask you
    something :
I know that the recipe of KFC is a secret. I would like to know (because
    an
Italian friend asked me) if anyone has tried to reproduce it with success.
If yes, could you please give me the recipe?
    TIA

I have not tried this Pandora but here is a link to a website claiming
    this recipe for KFC:
    http://www.copykat.com/asp/copykatrecipe.asp?recipe=754

Please let me know how it comes out!

    Bill

Yes! A friend of Rfc sent me this link! I find that is more simple than
other recipes. I think I will try this.
    Cheers and thank you

Holy hypertension, Batman! That recipe has a [censored] of sodium in it.
Salt, seasoned salt, MSG, dried chicken broth. Yikes.

I don't know if you could really duplicate KFC at home. From what I
remember, the restaurants use a special pressurized deep fat frier.
This probably helps to fully saturate the meat with grease.

Mea culpa - I've been known (on rare occassions) to eat KFC. But it's
    definitely not health food.

    ...Like all the fried things...🙂))

I am completely unfamiliar with the pressure fryer. Have actually never
    seen one.

They sell one at the San Diego county fair, as a "broaster". Bought
one that was too big for me (was gonna use it as a canner but didn't),
and ended up giving it to my mom, who uses it as a soup pot. :-(
    Wasn't cheap, either.

Just google for "KFC recipe" or some such similar term and you'll find
lots of knock off recipes that may interest you.
