Sent payment for licence last week......still waiting for licence. I am
also off to BrisVegas tomorrow until Friday for work. (it's a hard job but
someone has to do it). If my licence gets here in time I might have a crack
next week......I wonder if there is anywhere I could leave a backpack safely
while I race as I will have to go there on the way home from work??

Most people just ditch their stuff in a corner. So
far, riders seem to be pretty honest.

I'll be going as a spectator tonight. Still recovering from a cold and
managed to twist a chain link last night (the excuses keep coming!🙂 )
Probably start racing next week or the week after just with day licenses.
Will be my first race ever on a bike🙂

Still waiting to get a road bike. I wonder if they'd let me race with my mountain bike? Will probably pop over there to have a look. I'll be in my blue AAPT gear.

well, me and 'spoiler rocked up (me albeit briefly to do hte 'dad' thing)
Huge numbers tonight.
D grade seemed like about 30!!!
C mighta been 15-20(?).
[censored], they gotta get an E or Vets grade at this rate!

I was there for a looksee, as its only 15mins walk from home.. Got there
around 7:45ish I think.. lap times of the main bunch was around 1:30 for the
few laps I was standing still to watch.. I'm assuming this was A grade?
Might get there earlier next time to see the whole thing.. I'm very tempted
to get into it myself..
