I mentioned that before I attempt a kew crit I want to do some training on the loop and get comfortable with that hairpin bend. Was thinking of heading down there Saturday week (30/7) in the morning. I was thinking of around 8am, anyone else interested?

Weather looks perfect. And no late nights for the TdF.
Saturday Fine and mostly sunny. Moderate northerly wind. Min 9 Max 16

Weather was perfect with me, BT, GPLama, Ess93 and JayWoo all out for a spin. Luckily there was no FlyingDutch. I say luckily because for most of our time there we were sharing the circuit with a triathlon club on a training session. I think the sight of all those tri bars might have freaked FD out. I had enough practice on the infamous hairpin bend to have a crack at the crit next week. And my speed was about where I wanted it to be, 29kmh for the first 20 min, and 31kmh for the second 20 mins drafting (Ess would use his lack of weight up the hills, I would use my abundance of weight going down them). Let's see how long I last before being dropped next week.
