    Carb-free alcohol? Empty calorie alcohol?

Could you explain that? I'd like to be burning something other than carbs
    or fat.

I came in late on this thread, so I hope I'm not going over already
    covered territory.

    1) If you don't *burn* the carbs and fat, then your body will *store*
    the carbs and fat.

    2) If you really don't want to burn carbs and fat, then drink your daily
calorie allotment in alcohol. 4 8oz glasses of Absolut Vodka contain
2240 calories, so you could probably get all the calories you need from
three or four glasses. Of course, you'd have to drink it pretty
quickly. If you were to do it in shots, you'd probably fall down
somewhere between the tenth and twentieth shot. But, if you can manage
to drink it pretty quickly, then your body will burn the alcohol first,
leaving your carbs and fat to find a nice place to settle-in somewhere
on your body (belly, face, thighs, etc.) Of course, your liver probably
won't be too happy about this and will shut down, which would be
wonderful of course, since, when you're dead, I hear, you don't get many
    sugar cravings.

When did carb-free ever become calorie-free?
