Bush. Kerry is very, very soft looking. Bush is as strong

Bush wins. When Tyler finishes his lead-out, Kerry can't
decide which way he needs to go."Callistus Valerius" <[email hidden]> wrote in

anYeah, Kerry's legs look weak. Bush is a hoss, from all
accounts. He benches over 200 pounds, and at his age that's
not bad. Not the brightest bulb, I'd wager. -

If Tyler pulls Kerry, and Lance pulls Bush, before they're
launched, who wins the final sprint, Kerry or Bush?Bush's running distance is three miles which he supposedly
does in the low 7:00s. I have never heard of him doing any
longer distance, even before he came to the White House. If
the race is short enough to avoid taxing Bush's complete
lack of aerobic conditioning, Bush might have a chance;
otherwise, I'm thinking that Bush gets dropped.Furthermore, running is not very good for developing power
on a bicycle, so Bush is going to have to depend on his
weightlifting. There's nothing in that picture of him
falling off the Segway to make me think that he works his
lower body enough to make up for not cycling. Finally, it's pretty hard for a complete novice, no matter
how well conditioned, to hop on a bicycle and be able to do
an adequate sprint against an experienced cyclist, which
Kerry apparently is. Even without being a racer Kerry will
have the feel for how to control the bike and put the power
down efficiently while out of the saddle, while Bush's fall
from the Segway indicates to me that he is probably lacks
the kind of superior balance and coordination that would
make him a natural at bike handling. Specificity wins big in
the sprint.Maybe Bush could get Lance to knock Kerry down, though.

than a few screws loose and can't hold Lance's wheel with a
tow rope, though he does insist everything is going well and
on course. -
