Does anybody know Kerry's choice of road bike
-or-
Kerry's stance on the House bill that includes bikepatths and the like?
I've emailed Kerry's campaign and get only form letters back.
Thanks,
Jerry

Serotta Ottrott or Otrott or Ottrot...something like that.
Carbon-Titanium custom road bicycle, $8000
Shoes, shorts, helmet and gloves, $400
Cheap yellow tee shirt to wear with the above, $5
Looking like a grand poseur, priceless.

I like that!
Still have not decided how to cast my vote.
Thanks Keydates. Serotta. I have a friend with one. She likes it.
So, based strictly on cycling, who's the one to vote for?

Looking in the mirror again?
Both major candidates have fancy bikes...Bush rides a Trek Liquid (or is it Fuel?) 98.

Not even close. My bike fram cost me all of $325 but I think with all the bits I've added, total cost is close to $3500. My bike is only UCI legal thanks to the Polar Power system weight (222 grams of extra weight).
I wear jerseys from clubs and teams I am a member or have been a member of. Or I wear "neutral" jerseys. Oh yes, I protect my skin against the sun because "healthy tan" is oxymoronic.
Oh yes, when the President rides, its nearly a maximal effort. Kerry is just a weekend recreationa rider.

I spend way too much money, according to my wife, on my bike/s.
I wear jerseys from Ebay.
I don't tan I turn red.
I ride recreationally with maximal effort.
After last nights rumble at Case Western, I still don't have my mind made up.

(I think I want a Ti frame, though🙂)
Lo and behole I go in my local magazine stand yesterday for a new book to read and start looking at magazines and there it was - the answers to my original post; right there in the latest Bicycling issue (not an advertisement) on page 30.
Imagine that... interesting sidebar read.
