Kennet and Avon from Bath to Devizes..?

Yes but used the train the joy is the watering holes along
the way OR coffee stops if thats what really grabs you.

Not that part, I've done from Kennet mouth in Reading to
Pewsey, in stages. The railway line leaves the canal
after Pewsey and there's no way for me to get home from
there on. Very flat, but very easy walking and even I
couldn't get lost.

Yes, in 2000. Just make sure that there are no stoppages and
that the towpath is open the whole way. When I walked it I
could not walk up the Devizes lock flight as the whole thing
was dewatered and the towpath shut, which was a shame. It
was back in the days when my walking logs were alot more
sparse than they are nowadays, but you can find more

It as a nice walk, although I did miss out the first sretch
by walking over Bathwck Hill to Dundas Aqueduct. It will
probably be much better in May thanit was in early April
when I walked it.

I used to live in Chippenham for a few years,and when I was
about 12 me and my dad took our bikes on the train to Bath,
then cycled back along the K&A canal to Devizes, and then
cycled up the road back to Chippenham. An absolutely
glorious little trip, and once away from Bath we saw
virtually nobody until we reached Devizes. Saw loads of
wildlife, and the scenery was a joy in midsummer. Very
pleasant indeed, and I hope you enjoy your walk.
