Just got some Pearl Izumi Toester booties here. Happy to report my feet were warm and comfortable at 32*F today...makes a big difference in winter riding.
I lived with thick socks, baggies and cold feet too long. I didn't really want to pay $50+ for booties, but after a couple of rides, I'd say they are definately worth it. Probably other good booties are out there as well.

My comfort range is 80-95 degrees Fahrenheit. Unfortunately I'm living in Wyoming and between October and April my feet are always cold. I wear Sidi winter boots, SmartWool socks, and neoprene booties which only keep me warm to about 45 degrees. Below that, I use GrabberMyCoal footwarmers ( www.warmers.com ). I've ridden in temps down to 25 degrees with toasty feet.

The boys and I did about 115K yesterday in the freezing cold. Started at 7:00am at 7F. With wind, about 15F below zero.
Wool Socks
Chemical boot warming pads
Double booties (worth the investment)Good luck.

Nope...just wheels for legs.
We don't let the cold keep us from training. Indeed, motorists and others think we have a screw loose, BUT, what a great way to work on your sport-specific focus.
No tan lines on these legs,
