I've piled on loads of weight, and not ridden hardly at all in the last 4 years, even less since I've been driving.
But Now I've worked out that I have the car to take the bike further a field (and having a SanAndreas sitting in the shed doing nothing is criminal).
I wanted to try and find a decent Swobo Jersey like I had in my thinner days, but I can't find them. The domain Swobo.com points to one of those stupid search/link pages that want to be your homepage.
Only thing is, I've found a few pages that say Swobo aren't arround any more? What happened to them, I know their stuff was pricey, but it felt so good to ride in.
What are habitual Swobo wearers buying now (assuming you Swobos have worn out/shrunk with age). -- The poster formerly known as Skodapilot. http://www.bouncing-czechs.com

Swobo, sadly, is gone. For wool clothes try Spot Brand www.spotbikes.com or Bouré at www.boure.com

Get off your lazy butt and do some sweatting.
MTB Ride hard die free.
That was the plan, just wanted to find a real nice comfy wool jersy to fit round my slightly larger than UK normal sized gut.
We don't get the good weather over on this green and sceptic isle that the US gets (3 days sunshine in June, July and August, wet and thundery the rest and I was stuck in an office for all three). -- Carl Robson (The poster formerly known as Skodapilot) http://www.bouncing-czechs.com

I'm still wearing my green Swobo baggies even though the chamois is pretty shot. And the electric blue wool socks. Although they're totally threadbare and only see use on special occasions. I see Castelli wool stuff from time to time. Surly makes a killer looking jersey too: http://www.surlybikes.com/clothes.html
Must go back and check out that stuff at Surly too.
Thanks again.
It's not mt bike specific but when its colder & for skiing / hiking, I've wearing & swear by ice-breakers made out of marino wool. Different thicknesses & styles. And the stuff doesn't retain smells at all....MEC in Canada might have Marino stuff too.
