Here in NorCal there is Adam Switters on the road and Daniel Hollaway on the track.

Adam has a good likelihood of winning the 15-16 time trial. He's definitely overall the best in that
age group in this area. Another 15-16 rider to watch out for is Eric Riggs. Daniel Holloway probably
has a good shot in the crit because he's a strong sprinter.

In the 17-18s, of note is Steve Cozza. I believe he won Nevada City. Brady Harter & Duke Schimmer,
also of Team Swift. Another one to watch out for in anything involving a sprint is Clint Rogers.

In U-23, Saul Raisin (Ofoto) and Dale Suttle (Backyard Burgers) have impressed all year. Dale was
one of the top U-23 guys at Senior Nats, so he should be a force if he is healthy and fit. John
Murphy (Krystal), at 19, is another up and comer. He had the GC lead at the Tour of Oho going into
the last day, but lost it in the hills (I presume).

You mention two Zacks and leave out Zak Grabowski, also of Hot Tubes? Does this team collect
Za(c)ks? Zak was 2nd at Fitchburg Longsjo (ahead of Zack and Zach) and is a former national TT
champion. May the best Za(c)k win.

I am not up on the juniors and U23's, since my daughter is not a junior anymore. However, I hope
that the families, riders and coaches appreciate how hot it gets down here in Texas. The humidity is
going to be rather high during the nationals time period too. When we went to the Nats in Cincinnati
a few years ago, we were astounded at how cool it was in comparison to Houston.

Our weather is taxing for both riders and spectators. I hope they are going to be prepared.

Tyler Farrar.

Top 10 in espoirs Flanders this year. Consistent top placer in AVC events. Wins most every P12 race
he enters in the Seattle area. He's only 19.

BELGIUM (May 5, 2003) – While seasoned pro Tyler Hamilton was busy taking the final time trial stage
and sealing the deal for the overall victory at the Tour de Romandie, America's youngest contingent
of bicycle racers competing in Europe were posting some of their best results too.

Will Frischkorn (Boulder, Colo.) captured a third-place finish in the Tour of Flanders on Sunday,
May 4. The team continued to perform well as teammate _TYLER FARRAR_ captured ninth at the classic
event -- an amazing feat, considering the Wenachee, Wash. resident is only nineteen years old.

Earlier in the week, teammates Michael Voight (Alexandria, Va.) and Mark Fitzgerald (San Diego,
Calif.) rode 172km at the one-day race in Hoboken. Voight crossed the line at 12th place with
Fitzgerald close behind in 17th for the day.

The U-23 version of Liege-Bastogne-Liege also took place on Thursday, May 1. What may be the hardest
one-day race for Espoirs- the race began in typical cold, windy conditions with rain falling for
most of the event. The USPS Espoir National Team rode a strong, coordinated effort for the day
delivering Patrick McCarty to the line at seventh position. Will Frischkorn crossed the line 2:37
back in 14th place. Saul Raisin finished 22nd with Darby Thomas and Dan Bowman finishing 60th and
70th respectively.

The team competes at the Thuringen-Rundfahrt stage race in Germany starting Monday, May 5-11.

There's a kid on Aerospace Engineering, that's who you're talking about, I'm sure. Keith Norris.
This kid is incredible, though it appears a lot of people have been telling him how incredible he
is, because he acts like he knows it.

At a crit the day after Twilight, he repeatedly was attacking the breakaway in the p/1/2 race.
When one rider got away in the last 3 miles, he went to the front and single-handedly brought the
guy back just before the sprint, setting his teammate up to come around both me and Hayden
Godfrey from 7Up.

He was just at F'burg this week, racing the juniors, and won the points jersey.

nieco biskner will be the U23 champion... its a lock baby...

Alex Coelho from CO. He swept the 10-12 RR, TT, CR and CX titles last year in the 10-12. Even LANCE
could calculate the probability of him winning something this year.

Look for Peter Stetina to do something if he goes.

Well, looks like both Zac-'s won, took RR and TT. Good pick. My three U23s all were top 10. Wish I

Ok - so I picked the wrong race. I should have known that he'd rather race for the money at
