Go for the body paint ride, you only have a one or two opportunities a
year.
You can wear your jersey every other day.

Or to be less obtuse, the police just don't seem to bother enforcing the law
for that event. Well, that used to be the case more previously, after
some asinine brouhaha about making it more family friendly there was a
certain amount of covering-up going on. But that seems to be relaxing
again.

Well, I already paid for the entrance fee for the Century, so I guess I'm
doing that. But I've been feeling Hopelessly Middle Aged (as my daughter
would put it) lately, and riding in the Parade would be a something less
suburban PTA momish activity.
