For it to be jousting, I think you need a lance tucked under your arm,
and a shield* on your other arm. The idea being to hold the lance
steady and use your control of the unicycle to dislodge your opponent,
without yourself being dislodged.

Strange thing: although I've never had (or made) the opportunity to
joust, jousting was one of the first "novelty activities" I thought of
when I had my first unicycle. The subject comes up periodically in
this forum. There must be a psychological factor there that so many
unicyclists want to joust. Possibly it's to ride down and trample the
idiots who shout, "Where's your other wheel?"

*Stricty speaking, I think it should be a "trusty shield"🙂
