he lightens up the joint. he's amusing. i doubt if he takes himself too
seriously. he has yet to mention going vertical. he might be on drugs, but
they're probably recreational. roll on!

We had a poster at alt.rec.bicycles.recumbent (arbr) that topped crit pro with a vendetta against liberals and liberalism. Dominating the posts with off topic political conversation to the point that most posters had left arbr and many other regulars stopped in only infrequently.

The emergence of JohnySlowcom and his garbage postings has left many arbr regulars yearning for the “good ole days of off topic politics.”

There was a recumbent lowracer forum Monkey Island that specialized in about 80% adolescent trash talk typified of Johny’s posts, lots of attacks Bryan Ball publisher of Bentrideronline and Bob Bryan of Recumbent Cyclist News, anyone riding nonlowracers, particularly road bikes, recumbent hiracers, and traditional recumbents. It shut down about a month ago apparently under pressure from the ISP so the monkeys looked for other places to play. Initially he and some buddies (or he in multiple identities) focused on the recumbent forum of Cyclingforums.com with a few postings elsewhere within Cyclingforums and at arbr. Even was posting with a made up email address misidentifying himself with Bentrideronline in order to annoy Brian. After about two weeks the moderators kicked him off Cyclingforums, deleting the vast majority of the posts he had under two different ids. Now he plays in the unmoderated newsgroups where he won’t be kicked off, most heavily posting in arbr.

There are some threads in arbr speculating on the identity of the poster.
