They used to claim they saved you an astounding amount of energy using sealed bearings instead of
ceramic bushings, I must admit I never noticed

You might need to adjust the b-adjustment screw to get the chain farther from the cassette or you'll
get that chain-on-rollers clickity sound.

They could of had to much play. Then they really should have been replaced. I have- n't seen a
sealed one yet that couldn't be lubed.

I have aluminum replacement jockey's on my XTR DR. It's quiet and shifts crisper than the shimanos
(my chain goes where the DR goes without that extra slop of the sliding bearing) -- and they've
already outlasted my last set of shimano replacements.

Noise is usually an indication that something's not right. Without the slop of the upper pulley
moving side-side, you may need to adjust your DR cable.

I hear ya but thats not it. Those metalic rollers just make noise when the chain contacts them in
normal rotation. You can still hear plastic rollers but not as much.
