Well, you see, some people care enough about others that they don't care
what others think about them. They seriously want to help the others, and
just tell the basic truth, whether others want to hear it or not.

That would be a JC.. Often he's been crude and insulting, but know what?
He's never been dishonest.

Also, as I once pointed out, he's a snappy dresser.

This NG is about dieting, specifically low-carb. It's not about trolls or
who wants to win a personality contest.. It's about people who have spent
tiome in a low-carb lifestyle helping those entering a low-carb lifestyle.
And it's not about a Jim or JC or some Pastorio, it'snot about some kind of
worthless ego trip, it's about people helping other people.

Most do that. I may not always remember their names, and they might not
remember mine. Others come here to focus the attentions of others in
support of their onw weak egos, and I don't csare to rememeber those names
either, though they (you) seem to have a need to keep broadcasting it.

And you're speaking to me - but how is anyone to know that without a
referential quote? And your *deeeeep* perceptivity has led you to these
conclusions? I'm happy for you. And I admire your passive-aggressive
skills. That was an ironic statement for several reasons.

One difference between JC and you is that he says it out clearly and
economically. Another is that he isn't insecure enough to act as though
he's speaking for a group - doesn't need an e-crowd to back him up.
Another is that he doesn't need to plaster all that touchy-feely
claptrap around what he says. Another is that he doesn't try to slide
little slimy accusations in under a different guise like saying about JC
"He's never been dishonest" and, by oily innuendo, that I have been.
Another is your astonishing lack of a sense of humor to recognize when a
joke is being offered.

He and I have bumped into each other and I say I respect him for his
forthrightness, his sense of the absurd, his consistent positions, his
integrity, and I admire anyone who can teach as a profession. JC is one
of the high points here. Of course, he crosses some lines. Anyone who
presses the edges of the envelope as he does is bound to now and again.
But he claims to be nothing but what he acts like.

Learn something. I "seriously want to help the others, and just tell the

Exactly my cryptic little point. So he wasn't replying to me. In fact,
he was talking to himself since he was the only other one to post to the
thread. Could you get someone from "WE" to check and see if he's taken
his meds? He always talks to himself when he forgets.

I think his secret includes that little mirror he sits in front of
practicing those mean faces so he can tackle toughies like me. He simply
doesn't grasp the fact that I'm just a serene pussycat, a kindly little
