  1. *Weird food dream this morning*: I dreamt I was at a market with my mom and
everything in the market was HUGE. Mom bought a salmon fillet the size of a
kayak; she tucked the package under her arm! The zucchini was the size of
a baseball bat (shut up! you know who you are). The acorn squash was the
size of a basketball and they only sold them in halves. The limes were the
size of softballs. Veal cutlets were the size of 5 lb. flank steaks and
were on rolls like the plastic bags you peel off in the produce section at
the store. I have no idea what this means except, perhaps, I'm hungry 🙂

OB Food: Gonna buy some pork steaks (thanks to the post about them I now
have a craving). My grill *does* work (lump, not propane, don'tcha know).
I'll season them with Penzey's Adobo seasoning and grill them this
afternoon. Steamed brussels sprouts to go with unless I figure out how to
grill those, too. Maybe that slotted grill-foil (I don't have a vegetable
grill basket) and cut the sprouts in half and brush with olive oil. Not
sure of the seasonings if I attempt that.

I dunno... with all that BIG food and how I read your Subj. as "Jill's
BIG Mouth", I'm thinking I'd best hush mine now. LOL

    They're cheaper by the roll.

It's not a question of where he grips it!
It's a simple question of weight ratios!

A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut.

    Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?

ROFL... Sounds like my kind of salmon fillet 😉 Wonder if you went to plank
grill or smoke it you would have to use a 12 x 12 board.

*sigh* Leave it to this ng to confuse my weekend food line up.

Michael <- will now have to search for the 'perfect' flank steak.

LOL I think the outfits should be green to blend in with the foliage. Not
sure his garden is ready for harvesting yet but we could scout the area and
see. I know a little spot where we could hide... 😉

Hmmm, I don't remember seeing those, Andy. Given the state of this dream
the globe artichokes were probably the size of medicine balls and the
    avocados like footballs.

I think roasted brussel sprouts would be great! I do them in the oven
when I roast winter vegetables. Yes, olive oil... and some garlic,
not much more is needed. You might have a few blackened outer leaves,
but you can pull them off.

Hey Barb. It's good to be back. I've caught up on your pics on your
ePage. Looks like lunch with the 'First Lady' was a hit and you looked
    terrific.

  20. Or else Supersizing has taken over your subconscious =o) Either the
food bills would be very high, or very low, since you'd only have to
    buy one of everything.

And now I have this craving for Kayak-sized salmon...... =o)
