You are the first person that I ever heard who had the flu and then chooses not to get vaccinated
against it in the future. Every person that I know who had the flu is first in line to get the flu
shot. Every person I know who had the flu wants to eliminate all possibilities of getting it in the
future and the vaccine is the best way to achieve that goal even though flu vaccine is not
completely protective.

Of course there are those who *think* that they had the flu when they really had a bad cold. It is
very likely that this is the case with Anth.

I agree with the other Rich, Anth. But even if you had influenza, recovering from it is not a major
accomplishment; millions do it every year. That is what your immune system if for. If you get
vaccinated, you are just giving your immune system some valuable military intelligence about what
enemy is massing for attack and what its weaknesses are. The immune system can fight off the flu
from scratch, but it takes awhile for it to develop its own military intelligence, and in the
meantime, you'll fell pretty sick. If you prefer doing it that way, it's your choice, but I'll go
with the vaccine.

This is quite common, in fact -- people think they have the flu when they have some other kind of
respiratory infection, like a bad cold.

Also, if you have some sort of digestive upset, that's not the flu. There's no such thing as
"stomach flu."

I predict that Anth is either going to tell us that he had the classic flu symptoms (after doing
some research on the internet) and describe these classic symptoms *or* tell us that he was tested
positive for the virus.

I make this prediction because Anth is much more interested in falsely creating a belief that he is
credible than he is in the truth.
