Liege-Bastogne-Liege, one of the monuments of cycling, was run today and the great majority of the posts in rbr are about RELIGION.
Arguing about RELIGION is the stupidest thing ever. It's such a waste of time. It's all belief-based, therefore there is no rational thought involved, therefore no one will ever change their mind.
What is the point of participating in an 'argument' when there is no chance that someone will change their mind? Is blowing hot air that much fun?

thanks,

Fellow dumbass,
Lack of rational thought is the hallmark of rbr.

Horner was amazing, but Valverde and Bettinin are on another plane - and not the type with wings (though they may as well be).
Boogerd was pretty fantastic today also.
I think you're leaving out Cunego. Does anyone else think he completely botched the sprint? He started late from fifth position and still made a pretty good run at Bettini after Sinkewitz drifted into his line. He shook his head as he crossed the line as if he knew he'd got it all wrong. I don't think Valverde was beatable, but it could have been a little closer.
Bettini keeps making impressive solo efforts only to come up short in the finale. Then he blames his team for being isolated. If he wants a leadout, stop forcing a selection.
Cycling is all about 'sensations' you feel, 'being convinced' about yourself, your goals or your teamleader, finding supermotivation without rational basis, believing in the resurrection of VDB etc.
That last supper betrayal thing is an allegory for a domestique's desire to break free from a LANCE-ian domination of events..
Oh, my go*! How could you forget? I watched freakin' P-R live, MSR, Fleche Wal, E3, Dwars door Vlanderen, ALL of the big races and re-watched all of the archives. Most of it's free, but I ponied up the $35 for the Premium and got P-R and L-B-L and a few others that weren't free. They've hooked up with OLN for the GIro, and for $20 you get two hours every day live, plus a repeat, and then archived highlights. I am buying that too. If you go to www.cycling.tv and you have trouble getting the player to open, disable your internet security for a moment until you open the player, and then restart your security. It will work fine. I am so hooked that I can't believe it. I would never imagine that I could see so much of European cycling with GREAT commentary, scenery, etc. Can you tell I am just a little excited? I think I saw on their news program that they were going to cover a few US events, too.
You sound all doped up on neovite.

That should be POTM!!!! You are too funny, but I'll bet not too many people here will get it ;> I wondered whether the ads that they show are the same in all of the countries they feed to? What do you think?
Cat who is fascinated by narrowcasting and its possibilities :>
What is the point of participating in an 'argument' when there is no chance that someone will change their mind?
As in, what's the point of talking to Brian about LANCE?
As long as people were trashing Christianity, the thread was alive and well. As soon as their hollow basis for certainty was exposed, suddenly no one had time to talk about it anymore. And your thread popped up.
