so im looking to buy a cycling jersey and shorts and ive been searching the forum for some advice on brands and such. but it appears the "small" for most brands, say the performancebike.com ones, are 34" chest and 28" waist. im 31" chest and 26" waist. can anyone give me some help or suggestions or am i just too small and condemned to wearing flappy shirts?

I am doing a ride with a group and they are getting a jersey from Atec. They have XS and a size for XXS.
You can keep shopping around I would think others would have jerseys that small.
If not you could always just go to the buffet a lot more and work yourself up to an XXXXL🙂
Teamestrogen.com has alot of smaller stuff and some kids stuff (not sure if that would help you)

it doesnt work! trust me! im like a blackhole, i eat food and it doesnt turn up anywhere on my body. maybe i have a tapeworm...

Look at the italian brands incuding Castelli, Giordana. Italy the land of pocket rockets.
