  1. You know, the lad who's cycling to every Bristol City match this season for
    charity.
Poor guy. His team are in the play offs, which means his season is not yet
    over.
And what's the worst thing that could happen?
How about the opponents being Hartlepool United? Only the team furthest
away from Bristol by many miles!
Oh well, hopefully we'll save him from having to cycle to Cardiff later in
    the month. ;-)

Phew - it means I can hold onto my 20 quid for a bit
longer :-) Seriously, you've got to take your hat off to
the lad, he did the sleeping in a bus shelter routine on
his ride to Sheffield the other week when it coincided
with the Sheffield Marathon, meaning all the hotels he
    tried were full.

I hope the 'pool do tgo up. it will mean that Leeds will
have to play there next season (a big comedown from the
Champions League) - serves 'em right for sacking my hero
    after 44 days!

Me too, though we don't have a good play off record. AFAIK
they've never been higher that 3rd in Division 2 so getting
promotion will be a mighty achievement but considering it
will be 2 seasons on the trot it will be awesome.

Oh well, at least he's got a couple of nights booked at
    Mallard Towers this time.

IF I wasn't starting my new job on Monday 17th I'd cycle to
    the game too.

Good luck with the new job!

BTW re your other post. We've never won a play off game
(home or away) And I think the highest we've ever been is
2nd in the old 3rd div North. Does 6th in a National, rather
than Regional league beat that? Perhaps not. Dunno.

Find a pub wot does sky. It will be on Sat evening.

    regards

Hang on I thought the game was on Monday. I could rideto
The Big H on Saturday and return on Sunday. I have
actaully planned a little tour in North Yorkshire starting
Thursday, I shall be near Pickering on Friday night which
will mean I could get to Hartlepool by 6pm Saturday, stay
with the olds and ride back to Leeds on Sunday. - Just
have to find a way to tell Mrs MSeries now, I'll only be
    24 hours later than planned.

Doubt if you'll get a ticket chap, they went on sale
    this morning.

But here's a plan. you'll be arriving on a bike yes? Wear a
Bristol City shirt and speak with a Brissle accent.

    No. Only joking. ;-)

I called my Dad last night, tickets for general punters
like me go on sale on Friday if there are any left after
season ticket holders and stub holders have got theirs. I
    am not hopeful.
