Well Mr. JD you ARE indeed correct about Trek Fool 90's
durability - mine cracked, and I'm not a terribly aggressive rider.
Of course this conversely proves you wrong that in saying that
folks with Trek bikes just store them in their sheds. I rode mine
a LOT, that's why it cracked. (Good bikes shouldn't you say?

On the positive note, I rode my SS while I waited for a warranty
frame, which took 4 weeks. Also, since no more '05s were
available, and I would have had to wait for '06s, I opted to upgrade
to a full carbon frame for $100 charge. I rode the new bike
yesterday and it was night and day compared to my alu. frame.
Yes it's still a Trek but I have a wife and 3 kids to feed so I'll
stick with it for now.
Yes I take the good with the bad, and just keep riding..
